- Why are GP and allied health prices different?
- GPs have 50 CPD hours to manage every year and earn 2-3x what most allied health practitioners do. We split Pro into Medical ($179/year for GPs) and Allied Health ($109/year for registered nurses, physiotherapists, psychologists, and pharmacists). Same modules, same features — the price reflects ability-to-pay rather than feature scope.
- Does Free really stay free?
- Yes. The activity logger, framework-aware dashboard with hours and category breakdowns, AHPRA validation, and one free taster module stay free forever. Pro unlocks the full module library, evidence file uploads, CSV export, Priority Learning tracking, and Statement of Completion certificates for every module.
- What happens if I cancel?
- You keep Pro access until the end of the period you've already paid for. After that you revert to Free — your activity log, certificates, and notes remain untouched.
- Will the hours count toward my CPD requirements?
- PracticaCPD isn't currently an accredited CPD provider. Every completed module issues a Statement of Completion you self-record with your CPD home (RACGP, NMBA, Physiotherapy Board, Psychology Board, Pharmacy Board). The Statement includes your member numbers, hours breakdown, and reflection answers.
- Who can use the Registrar / Trainee plan?
- Australian medical registrars, GP trainees, and nursing or allied-health students with current AHPRA student or limited registration. Self-attested at sign-up. Full module access at $4.99/month while you're in training. Switch to Pro Medical or Allied when you complete training.
- How does Practice billing work?
- Practice owners pay a single invoice covering all seats. 3-seat minimum at $14.99/seat/month. Every invited team member gets full Pro access; the admin sees aggregate team compliance — never individual activities or evidence.
- I'm a specialist / optometrist / dentist — can I subscribe?
- Not yet. We're launching with GPs, registered nurses, physiotherapists, psychologists, and pharmacists. Other AHPRA-registered professions are on the roadmap — write to support@practicacpd.com.au if you'd like to be notified when your profession is supported.
